On December 4, 2023, TV presenter Lauren Winans invited Trevor to join her for an interview on the Music Monday segment of 304 Today on West Virginia news station WBOY. The pair discussed the production and release of his single Proudly West Virginian (feat. The Pride of West Virginia).
On Thursday, January 26, 2023, North-Central West Virginia newspaper The Dominion Post printed an article discussing Trevor’s newest album, What I Don’t Know. The Post’s Alise Chaffins writes “...At first blush, Trevor Cooke is a small, unassuming young man. But as you speak to him, you see the big dreams of this Morgantown singer and songwriter.” The article’s headline, which reads “It’s my entire purpose,” could not be more representative of Trevor’s dedication to his craft.
On August 13, 2022 Trevor Cooke made his radio debut on Sounds Good To Me with Aristotle Jones on WAJR. The two discussed Cooke’s personal history with music, the inspiration behind Doing Well, and the process of shooting his first music video. Additionally, Jones played Doing Well on the air.
Trevor Cooke has become a regular on Morgantown radio station U92.
First, on September 12, 2022, Cooke returned to the radio to join Griffin McMorrow on U92’s Morgantown Sound. The two talked for an hour in detail about Trevor’s artistic history, his performance style and inspirations, and the then upcoming release of his third album What I Don’t Know. McMorrow played several of Trevor Cooke’s tracks on the air.
More recently, on November 27, 2023, and April 2, 2024, U92's Mason Deel let Cooke take over Morgantown sound for two separate two-hour broadcasts. On the latter of the two, Trevor debuted new unreleased material from his EGO series of releases, and discussed the then-upcoming recording of his first live album.
On December 11, 2023, Trevor Cooke was nominated for "Best West Virginia Born & Bred Rap Act" of 2023 by Born & Bred Music. Born & Bred is an online music publication created by North-Central West Virginia Music Promotions Studio Black & Teal concepts. The website aims to "promote musicians and the overall music culture of West Virginia."
On July 31, 2022, A&Rfactory.com released an article reviewing Trevor's single Doing Well. The indie music publication's Llewelyn Screen calls the song a "...simply joyous experience," saying that Cooke "sings about the good times that have risen from the darkness and lead us exactly where we should be headed in life."
In Early 2022 the Raspy Voice Kids podcast, a self-described “Big brother/little brother duo from Parkersburg, West Virginia, who happen to be lifelong mountaineer fans, discuss WVU sports, tell stories, dissect pop culture, and hate pitt!” invited Mr. Cooke to join them for an interview. Brandon Phoenix and Trevor discussed the latter's involvement in the WVU music industry program, writing music to cope with mental illness, the story behind the song Best Friends, and more!
